THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH ABOUT THE STORY OF HOW THE "LA BUTTIGA" ADVENTURE WENT.
FROM THE BIRTH OF THE PROJECT IN 2011, THE FIRST BEERS, ALL THE MISTAKES AND ALL THE SUCCESSES WE ENCOUNTERED DURING OUR GROWTH, UNTIL THE OPENING OF OUR BELOVED BEER ROOMS.
La Buttiga was born in Piacenza in 2011, inside a 15th century courtyard, from the will of four partners, who decided to take over the business started in 2008.
The farmhouse, with its brick vaults, horses, chickens, beautiful orchard and in particular the stable, has seen the evolution of our adventures. The troubled beginning, an overwhelming mix of recklessness and total dedication to the "Buttiga cause", saw us participate in any fair, event, tasting, collaboration, anything that could introduce us to this wonderful world and vice versa.
After less than two years we understand that in order to be able to compete with a market that is constantly evolving and still too dominated by industrial beer, it was necessary to grow from all points of view. In 2013 we changed the plant by increasing production, we learned to improve quality, to give stability to the beers, to start the first experiments and at the same time to be seen in every corner of Italy. This continuous growth leads us to an important crossroads with a consequent change of course, in December 2016 for the first time the claire of the "Buttiga Beer Room" in Via Paolo Sarpi 64 in Milan, is raised.
The great satisfactions lead us to the opening of the second Beer Room, in Via Melchiorre Gioia 194, in May 2019. Then followed by two other new openings between 2020 and 2022, always in the Lombard capital.

Thanks to the continuous growth of the numerous patrons of the Beer Room and of the national and international distribution, the beer produced is no longer enough.
we end up having to leave the historic headquarters (waiting for future projects...) and also change the second production plant. The new headquarters, also from Piacenza, with the brand new machinery has been active since May 2022.
There are still many ideas and the desire to make them come true is the same as in the early days...
